A signed APT repository serving current baresip packages, a modular SIP user agent.
Unofficial baresip packages for Debian 13, built by Zamfono; not affiliated with or endorsed by the baresip project.
<upstream>-1+zamfono13.N. Matching source packages are published alongside the binaries (apt source baresip).
.buildinfo (source hashes and the exact version of every build dependency) is published under /debian/baresip/buildinfo/ — the evidence needed to independently rebuild and compare the binaries.
Install the archive keyring package (this first fetch is trusted via HTTPS and this domain; afterwards APT keeps the keyring current through the repository's signed path). It is the same keyring as for the Asterisk repository; skip this if it is installed already:
wget https://packages.zamfono.com/debian/zamfono-archive-keyring_latest_all.deb sudo dpkg -i zamfono-archive-keyring_latest_all.deb
The installed key can be inspected with:
gpg --show-keys /usr/share/keyrings/zamfono-archive-keyring.gpg
The Zamfono archive master key fingerprint is 181B A83E BC2D 123A A21E 5F22 F94F DC7F FFB6 2A49 — also published in the packages-builder README, a channel independent of this server.
Register the repository:
sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/zamfono-baresip.sources <<'EOF' Types: deb URIs: https://packages.zamfono.com/debian/baresip Suites: trixie Components: main Signed-By: /usr/share/keyrings/zamfono-archive-keyring.gpg EOF
To also fetch source packages (apt source baresip), use Types: deb deb-src instead.
sudo apt update sudo apt install baresip
This replaces Debian's baresip-core, if installed (both ship the baresip program).
Detached debug symbols (baresip-dbgsym, for crash backtraces) are published in the separate trixie-debug suite, like Debian's own debian-debug archive. Add this stanza to zamfono-baresip.sources only when debugging:
Types: deb URIs: https://packages.zamfono.com/debian/baresip Suites: trixie-debug Components: main Signed-By: /usr/share/keyrings/zamfono-archive-keyring.gpg
baresipbaresip program with its modules, and libre and libbaresip as private libraries (libre changes its ABI with nearly every release, so nothing else links against it). The build is headless: it includes the modules below and leaves out the GUI and video modules (GTK, SDL, X11, FFmpeg, GStreamer, V4L2). baresip loads only the modules its config lists.
